What an OKX referral code is and what it gives you
A referral code is the inviter's tag. When you register, OKX records whose code you came with, and that link stays for good. K2FMEIJ3 links your account to TradeGid.
- A link to the inviter. That is the core of it, and it cannot be changed later.
- Entry into the New User Bonus program. Under OKX rules, people who sign up through a referral or affiliate link are enrolled in the welcome rewards program automatically.
- Tasks with rewards. The tasks and amounts depend on your country of residence and appear in your account after login.
- Your trading terms stay the same. Fees, limits and products are exactly what any user from your country gets.
The code promises nothing beyond OKX's standard new user program. It gets you into that program and tells OKX who invited you.
Referral code, referral link and promo codes
A referral link is the same code built into the address: okx.com/join/K2FMEIJ3. Through the link the field fills itself; you type the code by hand only if you start from a blank sign-up page. Vouchers and campaign rewards are something else – OKX hands them out after sign-up, and they have nothing to do with the referral link.

Can you add an OKX referral code after sign-up?
No. The OKX referral program FAQ (updated 5 October 2026) is explicit: the code must be added before the account is created, and it cannot be added or changed afterwards. There is no grace period.
Forgot the code and have not confirmed your email yet? Close the tab and start over. If the account already exists, do not open a second one: OKX allows one account per person and rejects a second KYC with the same documents. Sub-accounts are not eligible either.
OKX sign-up bonus: what exists in November 2026
OKX has no fixed "everyone gets $X" bonus. It has the New User Bonus program: after sign-up you see tasks – deposit, make a trade of a set size and so on – and rewards for completing them. OKX shows the amount to you personally in the rewards section, and two people in different countries can see different numbers.

"$10 sign-up bonus", "no deposit" and "up to 10,000 USDT"
Searches like "okx sign up bonus $10" or "okx sign up bonus no deposit free" chase old or regional campaigns. I found no official OKX page promising a fixed amount to every new user as of November 2026, and no no-deposit bonus in the program terms: tasks nearly always need a deposit and a trade. "Up to 10,000 USDT" usually means the top of a prize pool, not what each person gets.
If you live in Singapore, the UAE, Australia or the EEA, you sign up with a separate local OKX entity, and its promotions follow local rules. The global platform is not available to US residents; OKX US is a different company. In the UK the global platform has no derivatives or P2P, and rewards may differ there too.
Common OKX referral code mistakes
- Someone else's code got pre-filled. OKX remembers earlier link clicks. Sign up in a private window and look at the field before tapping Next.
- Code entered after email confirmation. Too late – the link is fixed when the account is created.
- A second account for the bonus. OKX rejects duplicate identities, and breaking program rules cancels rewards.
- Wrong country on the form. It must match your documents, or KYC fails or the account gets frozen with the balance inside. This matters in India, which OKX fully restricts.
- Task done in pieces. If the task needs a 100 USDT trade, five trades of 20 USDT do not count.
- Reward not opened in time. You have 30 days, then it expires.
Nearly every mistake happens on the first screen and in a hurry. Two minutes checking the code field and the country save a lot of trouble.
Funding the account in Nigeria and the Philippines
Deposit tasks count external deposits, not internal transfers. The predictable route is sending USDT from another wallet or exchange. P2P in local currency also works where ads are active: in October 2026 there were naira ads (bank transfer, OPay, PalmPay) and peso ads (GCash, Maya).
