Binance Fees: Spot, Futures, Withdrawals and How to Pay Less
A regular Binance user pays 0.1% per spot trade (0.075% if fees are paid in BNB) and 0.02% maker / 0.05% taker on USDⓈ-M futures. Crypto deposits are free, while withdrawals cost a flat amount that depends on the coin and network – USDT on BEP20 costs a cent, on TRC20 a few dollars.

I've traded on Binance since 2020, and most of the fees I've overpaid came from two habits: market orders where a limit order would have done, and withdrawing USDT on the wrong network. Below are all the rates as of 1 November 2026, taken from Binance's official fee schedule and help centre, plus a calculator to work out your own monthly cost.
Binance spot trading fees
On spot, a Regular-tier user pays 0.1% as both maker and taker. A maker places a limit order in the book and waits; a taker hits an existing price with a market order. Turn on paying fees with BNB and the rate drops by 25%, to 0.075%.
| Tier | 30-day requirement | Maker / taker | Paying with BNB |
|---|---|---|---|
| Regular | Volume under $1M | 0.1% / 0.1% | 0.075% / 0.075% |
| VIP 1 | Volume from $1M and at least 5 BNB | 0.09% / 0.1% | 0.0675% / 0.075% |
| VIP 2 | From $5M and 25 BNB | 0.08% / 0.1% | 0.06% / 0.075% |
| VIP 3 | From $20M and 100 BNB | 0.04% / 0.06% | 0.03% / 0.045% |
As of November 2026, per the official table at binance.com/en/fee/schedule. VIP tiers need both conditions: trading volume and BNB balance. Tiers above VIP 3 are in the same table.
Trading bots don't add a separate charge: Binance's help centre says Spot Grid follows normal spot fee rates. But a grid bot makes dozens of small trades, and 0.1% on each adds up – on a tight grid, fees can eat more than the bot earns from the swings.
Binance fees per trade: a USDT example
You buy 1,000 USDT of BTC and later sell it. Entry and exit at 0.1% each come to 1 + 1 = 2 USDT, or 1.5 USDT paying in BNB. So the price has to rise about 0.2% (0.15% with BNB) just to break even. For a long-term buy that's nothing; at ten trades a day it's 20 USDT, whether or not any of them made money.
Binance futures fees
On USDⓈ-M perpetual futures (margined in USDT or USDC) the base rates are lower than on spot, but they're charged on the full position size, not on your margin. That's the part beginners miss.
| Tier | 30-day requirement | Maker / taker | Paying with BNB (10% off) |
|---|---|---|---|
| Regular | Futures volume under $5M | 0.02% / 0.05% | 0.018% / 0.045% |
| VIP 1 | Futures volume from $5M and at least 5 BNB | 0.018% / 0.05% | 0.0162% / 0.045% |
As of November 2026: Binance's USDⓈ-M fee support article (updated 1 May 2026) and Binance's public tier table. Per the help centre, futures volume requirements are 5× the spot ones, and a spot VIP tier also applies on futures. The BNB discount only works if BNB sits in your futures wallet.
Example: 100 USDT of margin at ×10 is a 1,000 USDT position. Market entry and market exit cost 1,000 × 0.05% × 2 = 1 USDT – that's 1% of your margin per round trip. Limit entry plus market exit: 1,000 × (0.02% + 0.05%) = 0.7 USDT. Limit orders both ways: 0.4 USDT. The gap between 1 and 0.4 USDT looks tiny until you multiply it by a hundred trades.
Funding is a separate cost
On perpetuals you also pay or receive funding. Binance doesn't take it: payments go between longs and shorts. The default is every 8 hours, at 00:00, 08:00 and 16:00 UTC, but when a rate hits its cap a contract can switch to hourly settlement and later revert to every 4 hours. Hold a position for days and funding can easily exceed the trading fee.
Binance options and stocks fees
Options work differently: 0.024% of the underlying's index price per contract when you open or close, capped at 10% of the option's price, plus 0.015% of the settlement price on exercise. The help article was updated on 6 March 2026 and warns that rates may change, so check the fee page before trading. For US stocks, orders of $340 and above pay 0.05% under a promotion running to 31 December 2026 (standard rate 0.10%); bStocks have a separate fee schedule.

Binance withdrawal and deposit fees
Binance doesn't charge for crypto deposits – the sender pays the network fee. Withdrawals cost a flat amount in the coin, and it depends heavily on the network. Transfers between Binance accounts by email, phone or Binance ID are free and instant, as the help centre states.
| Network | Withdrawal fee | Minimum withdrawal |
|---|---|---|
| BNB Smart Chain (BEP20) | 0.01 USDT | 5 USDT |
| Optimism | 0.04 USDT | 3 USDT |
| AVAX C-Chain | 0.04 USDT | 5 USDT |
| TON | 0.3 USDT | 3 USDT |
| Arbitrum One | 0.3 USDT | 3 USDT |
| Ethereum (ERC20) | 0.6 USDT | 5 USDT |
| Solana | 0.6 USDT | 5 USDT |
| Tron (TRC20) | 4 USDT | 10 USDT |
As of 1 November 2026, from Binance's public withdrawal fee list. Fees are dynamic and move with network load – the exact amount is always shown in the withdrawal window before you confirm. For comparison, a BTC withdrawal on the Bitcoin network cost 0.00002 BTC on the same date.
The most common mistake I see is withdrawing USDT on TRC20 out of habit. In 2026 it's one of the priciest USDT networks on Binance: 4 USDT per withdrawal against 0.01 USDT on BEP20. Still, pick the network by what the receiver accepts, not by price. Send BEP20 to an address expecting TRC20 and you can lose the money.

P2P fees and withdrawals to a bank
Per Binance's help centre (updated 4 March 2026), both makers who post P2P ads and takers who trade on them pay a fee of 0% to 0.35%, depending on the fiat market and pair. The exact rate shows in the order before you confirm. On P2P the seller's price usually matters more than the fee: the gap between the best ad and an average one is often wider than 0.35%.
Withdrawing straight to a bank account depends on your country and method – in some places it exists with a fee, in others it doesn't exist at all. In Nigeria, naira services and naira P2P were removed in 2024; in the Philippines Binance has been blocked since 2024. For most users outside the EU and US, P2P is the practical route, covered in withdraw USDT to card.
How to lower your Binance fees
There are three legitimate levers, and all of them work for any user, no promo codes involved.
- Limit orders instead of market orders. On futures a maker pays 0.02% against a taker's 0.05% – 2.5 times less. Place a limit just inside the market and wait; keep market orders for stops.
- Pay fees in BNB. Switch it on with the BNB fee toggle in your profile's fee settings. It's 25% off on spot and 10% off on futures, but for futures BNB has to sit in the futures wallet.
- The right withdrawal network. If the receiver accepts BEP20, Optimism or TON, a USDT withdrawal costs cents instead of dollars.
- Fewer pointless trades. Ten market entries a day cost more than one planned entry. Fees are a tax on fidgeting.
- VIP only for real volume. VIP 1 needs $1M of spot volume in 30 days plus 5 BNB. Churning volume to reach a tier is a reliable way to lose more than you save.
For a normal trader, limit orders, BNB and the right network are what actually work – together they cut costs two to three times. VIP only makes sense if you already trade millions.

Binance fees in India and vs other exchanges
Indian users on Binance pay the same global rates listed above; Binance has been registered with FIU-IND since 2024. What changes the real cost in India is tax: the 30% tax on crypto gains and the 1% TDS on transfers apply whichever platform you use. When comparing Binance with local apps like Mudrex or Giottus, look at the total you pay per trade in rupees – fee plus spread – rather than just the headline percentage.
Against other global exchanges, Binance isn't the cheapest on paper but isn't expensive either: 0.1% on spot is the market standard, and on futures liquidity matters more. In a deep order book a market order barely slips, which saves more than a 0.005% difference in the fee table. We've broken down the competitors separately: Bybit fees, OKX fees, Bitget fees and Gate fees. Country access and products are in our Binance review.
